About

Naoko Ogawa is a Japanese-born Berlin-based jewelry artist.

What can be jewelry? Based on personal experience rather than contemporary values, Ogawa carefully studies what makes people feel joy and beauty, and creates jewelry as a device to experience that uplifting feeling.

Ogawa considers jewellery to be one of the art mediums that, due to its strong physical and psychological properties, can give the wearer a more intimate sense of personal experience. They invite the wearer to become aware of changes in their body, behaviour and mood, and to confront themselves with themselves.

All of work is designed to allow the wearer to create their own style with the jewelry and complete the beauty of the piece. Ogawa believes that the wearer's confidence comes from knowing that it is they themselves who create this beauty.

"drawing" is a diffusion jewelry line that allows you to enjoy those concept more closely by applying the format of common jewelry items such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.
